Hi everyone!

I have updated the default forum text editor to be CKEditor 4 (HTML) version. The previous default text editor was very feature-bare and caused some confusion with posting pictures and/or formatting.

Changing the default editor will make it so all new users automatically use this editor, but it may not change the editor for your existing profile. There are a total of 5 editors currently built into the forum and you are free to pick and use whichever one you want. I personally would recommend CKEditor (HTML or BBcode, that is up to you).

Follow these instructions to change this editor for your profile:

• First, you must log into the forum if you haven't already done so.

• Next, click My Profile

• Then click Edit Profile

• Now scroll down until you see the "Select your text editor:" option, beneath the Time Zone selector.

• Click the down-arrow to select between available text editors. I recommend either CKEditor (BBCode) or CKEditor (HTML)

• Click Save

Now you have updated your editor! Next time you post or try to edit one of your old posts, you'll see the benefits of the more advanced text editor. Here is a screenshot of what the editor looks like as I type this very post. It is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) so it makes things a little more convenient.
